GFRG at the Ohio State Theatre Lobby

This spectacular re-creation of the long-lost neo-Renaissance interior was designed by architect Thomas Lamb. EverGreene Architectural Arts in New York used Lamb's original drawings and scanned period photographs of the original interior to plan and execute this highly ornate recreation of the illustrious lobby.

They retained Palladio GFRG to reproduce the barreled ceiling as well as other plaster ornamentation. As the original ceiling was lost in a fire, Palladio GFRG was tasked to recreate all ceiling elements utilizing only the historic photographs and the Thomas Lamb architectural drawings.

Below are some of the sculpture, patterns, and other elements that were produced for this large-scale GFRG project.
